Obituary MaeBelle (Belle) Boone passed away on November 30, 2005 in Irving, TX after suffering a stroke. Belle had been battling Alzheimer’s disease at the time.

Funeral services were held on December 3, 2005 at the Corley Funeral Chapel in Corsicana, TX. Burial was held at the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery.

Pallbearers were John Stillings, Tom Stillings, Lew Robinson, Bill Jones, Jerry White and Mark Hickey. Honorary Pallbearers were Brian Beamon, Ethan Boone, Robert E. Jones and Edward Lain.

He was born on December 27, 1914 in Corsicana, TX.

He is preceded in death by his son, Allen Elliot Edens, III.

She was born on April 14, 1921 to Mr. and Mrs. Grady Poarch. She was a homemaker who loved cooking, shopping, going dancing and always had a juicy story to tell. Your favorite treat, the arm of her recliner that you never out grew and the coolest front porch was always waiting when you visited. Our life’s tapestry is woven with wonderful memories of the best mother and granny you could ever have.

Funeral services were held on December 15, 2005 at the Corley Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bill Honea officiating. Internment followed at the Oakwood Cemetery.

He was born on December 9, 1916 in Raliegh, TX. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He worked in the grocery industry for many years before retirement.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Lonnie Belle (Hosch) Warrington; brother, Bill Warrington and brother-in-law, Joe Ard.

Obituary: William J. (Bill) McKie III
Obituary William J. (Bill) McKie III passed away on November 11, 2005 after a brief bout with cancer. Funeral services were held on November 13, 2005 at the Corley Funeral Chapel. Burial was at the McKie plot in the Oakwood Cemetery. Pallbearers were Todd Jones, Chad Wilson, Dylan Wilson, Brent Morelock, Harold Sanches and Jerry Jones, Honorary Pallbearer was Dalton Duke.

Mr. McKie was born on January 28, 1924 in Corsicana, TX to Ben Whiteselle and Ethel Wilson McKie.

He was a 1941 graduate of Corsicana High School, as well as a graduate of Navarro College. While at Navarro, he served as president of his class and later became a member of the “Barracks Bunch.” Before attending Navarro, he served stateside as a Marine Corps pilot during World War II. Bill graduated from Baylor University with a law degree in 1950, and then served as Corsicana’s city attorney from 1952 to 1958. His entire law career was practived in Navarro County and the surrounding area.

Obituary: Katherine Ivey Heiser
Obituary Katherine Ivey Heiser’s funeral services were held on November 17, 2005 at the Mission Park North Chapel in San Antonio, TX with internment following at the cemetery. There will be a memorial service at Custer Road United Methodist Church, 6601 Custer Road, Plano, TX on Friday, November 18, 2005 at 3:00 p.m.

Katherine Hope was born the eldest of four children to Ford and Lee Ellen Ivey on November 28, 1914 in Kerens, TX. After Going through the Kerens school system, Katherine went to the College of Mary Harden Baylor, where she graduated with a degree in music education. She found the love of her life while teaching school and soon married to James E. Heiser, who was also a teacher and coach, on August 21, 1939. They had one child, Dinah Kay, and lived for 54 years in San Antonio, TX, where they both taught school until retirement. Kay was active in San Antonio Retired Teachers Assoc., San Antonio Coaches Wives, Entre Nous Club and Alpha Delta Kappa. Kay received the Yellow Rose of Texas Education Award in 1997.

Obituary Went to be home with her Lord and Savior on Sunday November 13, 2005 in Mesquite, Texas. Born March 14, 1935 to Clell Mace and Mary Lou Matthews Riddle in Salmon, Idaho.

She graduated from High School in Victor, Montana; attended Montana State University, Henderson County Junior College and completed degree requirements in 1976 at the University of Texas at Tyler.

She was a veteran of the Women’s Army Corp and a five-year employee of Texas Instruments in Dallas. Since 1976, she was the publisher and editor of The Kerens Tribune, except for the seven-year period when she managed the Tribune for an absentee owner.

Mrs. Cannon was born November 13, 1956 in Gainesville, TX. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her grandchildren called her by “Big Momma”. Kathy could be characterized as being free spirited, and having goodwill towards others. Her family was her life and she loved them dearly.

He was preceded in death by a son, Gregory Giles, Sr. and eight brother and sisters.

Vaola was born October 21, 1916 in Richland and graduated from Richland High School in 1935. She was a member of United Methodist Church in Whitehouse, TX before moving to Corsicana. She and her husband lived in Shreveport, LA for many years where they owned and operated a successful business.
